Ramesh Gulati, known as Reliability Sherpa, is a world-renowned leader in the maintenance, reliability, and asset management field. He is a hands-on professional, change agent, teacher, author, and thought leader. Gulati worked for over 55 years in various organizations such as ReliabilityX, Jacobs-ATA/ Sverdrup, Carrier Air Conditioning, True Temper Corporation, Bethlehem Steel, and the HEC-Foundry Forge plant. Gulati holds a BSME, MSIE, and an Executive MBA and has earned the PE, CRE, CRL, CMRP, CMRT, and CAMA certifications. He also is an active member of AMP, ASQ/Reliability, IIE, IAM, SMRP, and UT/RMC has authored numerous papers in maintenance, reliability, asset management, productivity improvements, application of standards, and workforce development. He is a member of ISO/ANSI-US TAG –pc251 (ISO 55000) and TAG 56 (sustainability). Ramesh is the author of several books, including the award-winning Maintenance & Reliability Best Practices, now in 3rd edition, 10 Rights of Asset Management, Uptime Elements DICTIONARY for Reliability Leaders & Asset Managers and Maintenance & Reliability Best Practices Workbook.
